Our volunteer firefighters operate out of 2 stations and protect a primarily residential area. We respond to all fire, rescue and EMS calls in our district which covers the Town of North Salem and segments of the towns of Carmel and Southeast. We do not provide transportation to area hospitals for patients as we work closely with the North Salem Volunteer Ambulance Corps and Westchester EMS. Other than the ultimate benefits of giving back to the community and helping your friends and neighbors, the Croton Falls Volunteer Fire Department offers our members the ability to save on their property tax bill each year. Firefighters who accumulate at least 50 points per year can save 10% on their tax statement. Points are a way of measuring each member's activity. Any time the Department responds to an incident, gathers for training or holds a meeting, it counts as a point. A monthly report showing each firefighter's points total is available online and a year-end tally is posted for all members. It’s easy to make your points so please consider joining today and helping the residents and visitors to our town.Contact: Paul Dagostino -
